£12 per hour (Real Living Wage)

We are looking for an experienced Café Assistant to work as part of the team at the Bothy Café, River Garden Auchincruive.
This very special café is set in a unique setting and is our flagship social enterprise. There is an expectation that the café will provide a professionally run, warm and friendly destination drawing many visitors to River Garden Auchincruive.
As a front of house staff member, you will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders and have a good appreciation for coffee and specialty drinks, ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.
The successful candidate will have experience in:
- Front of house food service and the creation of a unique, pleasurable and top-quality experience for visitors.
- Have excellent coffee and related product knowledge as well as an understanding of operating a grinder, espresso machine and milk frother.
- Taking payments and operating a till.
- Have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
In addition, you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be friendly, approachable and flexible.
