Our Therapeutic Programme
The Core of Lasting Recovery
A Structured Path to Lasting Recovery
While the work programme provides purpose, our therapeutic programme delivers the critical internal work needed for recovery to last. We offer a safe, person-centred environment where self-care is essential. The six-month residential journey is structured into three progressive phases, combining personal 1:1 sessions with your Key Worker and focused Group Work.
Three Stages of Recovery
This initial phase focuses on building stability and self-awareness, helping participants understand their addiction and personal history. The outcome is a Certificate of Participation.
This is the core learning phase, focused on acquiring new skills for personal recovery and practical work in our social enterprises. Participants earn a Certificate of Work Achievement (e.g., in café/horticulture) and receive support for external certified training (e.g., SVQ2 in Horticulture).
This final stage is all about preparing for a sustainable future. The focus is on community reintegration, building support networks, and connecting with employability services.
Core Therapeutic Pillars
Our approach is multi-faceted and person-centred, moving away from a one-size-fits-all solution to address the root causes of addiction. The programme is delivered by dedicated in-house staff and commissioned specialists, with therapeutic elements engaging approximately 30% of your structured week. Elements included in the programme:
1:1 counselling, support planning and review, understanding your relationship with drugs and alcohol, triggers and responses, and Art Therapy.
Anxiety Management, Anger Management, and Sleep Hygiene.
Mindfulness as a daily practice and supportive recovery walks, yoga, health improvement and wellbeing.
