Inclusion
Our approach to Inclusion
Recovery Rooted in Safety and Community
At River Garden Recovery Centre, our primary focus is on healing, community, and recovery. We believe that genuine recovery is only possible in an environment where everyone feels completely safe, respected, and valued for who they are.
Inclusion, Diversity, and Respect
River Garden is a place for everyone. We warmly welcome all individuals seeking recovery, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.
While River Garden is not a faith-based service, we deeply respect all faiths, creeds, and beliefs (or the absence thereof). We are committed to supporting residents in observing their spiritual practices and will gladly help you connect with appropriate local faith or community groups. Your journey of recovery is personal, and we respect your right to exercise your spiritual beliefs freely.
We are proud to be an explicitly inclusive space for the LGBTQI+ community. Our doors are open to all men and women, as well as people who are trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and those of all sexual orientations. Discrimination and prejudice have no place here.
Our commitment extends to welcoming people of all ages, races, ethnicities, national origins, abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds.
