Becoming a Resident at River Garden
Whether you’ve tried to get into recovery before, or are just starting your journey, River Garden has the support you need to succeed. River Garden Auchincruive is a residential community for people who have recently detoxed from drugs and/or alcohol. We live and work together in a place of comfort, nurture, routine, natural beauty and safety. We support each other. We push each other forward. We help each other recover. We help each other heal. Together.

Referring clients
If you feel River Garden is the right place for you we would urge you to speak to your community case worker, key people in your recovery network or contact your local ADP. We will only be able to accept referrals from people living in Scotland. We will provide a further update and details on our referral criteria and process later in November 2025.

We know that having a family member with an addiction is devastating. Trust is easy to break and hard to restore. But with time, if a family member can get into long-term recovery, relationships can repair and trust can be rebuilt. Families need their own recovery too.
