River Garden Auchincruive is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We offer a unique, holistic, six-month residential programme designed to help residents not only achieve sobriety but also to build a stable, fulfilling life worth living. We believe that true healing happens through purpose, connection, and professional support.

Our service is built around an innovative model that integrates three core pillars:
Residents engage in meaningful work across our social enterprises—including our highly successful Bothy Café, horticulture, and woodcraft workshops. This practical involvement is key to developing new skills, structure, responsibility, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Our programme delivers essential internal work through dedicated 1:1 sessions, specialised group work, and trauma-informed practice. Over half our staff bring powerful lived experience to their roles, ensuring deeply empathetic and authentic support.
We prioritise rebuilding vital relationships. We are committed to being a Dog Friendly service (in partnership with The Dogs Trust), recognising the power of loyal companionship. We also offer dedicated support to families and loved ones to foster mutual healing and understanding.
