Rebuilding Connections

We understand that addiction deeply impacts the entire family. At River Garden, we view recovery as a communal effort and are dedicated to supporting the gentle restoration and strengthening of your most vital relationships.

Your time with us provides a supportive space to reflect on your key relationships and develop a thoughtful, realistic plan for reconnecting and rebuilding.

Supportive Guidance for Loved Ones

  • Individualised Exploration: We’ll gently support you in exploring what healthy relationships look like for you, including working through past challenges, setting kind boundaries, and developing new, essential communication skills.
  • Key Worker Support: Your Key Worker acts as a central guide, helping you initiate contact, navigate complex emotional issues, and facilitate therapeutic conversations with your loved ones.
  • Dedicated Family Liaison: Recognizing that family members and partners often need their own space to heal, we can assign a separate team member to work directly with your key connections. This ensures they receive focused guidance and understanding alongside your recovery journey.

Partnering for Long-Term Support

We never expect families to navigate complex challenges alone. We maintain strong, collaborative relationships with specialist partner agencies who provide focused support for families affected by addiction. We will actively work with these external services to ensure your loved ones receive the expert, long-term support they need to maintain their well-being.

Our commitment is to work with you and your family throughout your entire time at River Garden, fostering the mutual support and understanding required for long-term recovery.
